Ta'amia (Falafel) has become the most popular dish in Egypt . Falafel is made from broad bean and greenery which is fried in oil and is eaten hot. If you tried to eat Ta'amia, you would eat it again. When you smell it you will run to eat a sandwich.
Ready in: 30 min (+ 12 hours for soaking beans before cooking)
Ingredients
- Decorticated broad bean.
- 3 onions.
- 2 leek packs.
- 2 parsley packs.
- 2 dill packs.
- 1 tablespoon cumin.
- 3/4 cup of water.
Method
1- Soak broad bean overnight (about 12 hours).
2- Cut all ingredients into small pieces and put them in the food processor.
3- Pour water and mix them well until the mix is soft.
4- Form falafel dough into flat balls and sprinkle some sesame on the surface.
5- Fry ta'amia in hot oil until golden brown.
6- Serve falafel with vegetables slides.
